Let’s start by saying I’ve been gone for awhile, so much life has happened recently that I just had to take a step back and focus. I’ve missed sharing all of Cleveland’s wonderful events and food and I’m excited to be back. I appreciate all of the support while I have been quiet. Now on to the fun stuff!
The end of September marks the time for the Cleveland Gaming Classic at the IX-Center in Cleveland, Ohio. We had never been to this before but live for different events, and things to do.
The Cleveland Gaming Classic started with a game of Tecmo Super Bowl on Nintendo 10 years ago in someone’s basement. Which then grew to these games being in bars, arcades, event centers and eventually the IX-Center. It’s an all day event with vendors, game competitions, an arcade area, Magic (the card game) area, and a cosplay competition. They do have some food and food vendors so you really can stay all day if you choose.
We spent the first half the day there shopping at all the vendors. We found some older video games and some Disney Funkos for our collections. It was so awesome to see all the costumes and I wish we would have stayed to see the actual competition.
This was something I never knew existed in Cleveland and we just happened to see it on the X-Center’s sign and I’m really glad we checked it out. Cleveland has something for everyone. If you love games or the fantasy genre this event is for you. Hoping we can go next.
