US Ghost Adventures Cleveland Edition

**Disclosure: Contains an affiliate link. I was invited in by US Ghost Adventures for a tour. As always my opinions are 100% my own.***

It’s spooky season and what a way to start off the season with a ghost tour around Cleveland. US Ghost Adventures hosts tours in 150 cities including Cleveland, Akron, Canton, Kent, Massillon, Toledo, Columbus and Cincinnati. They also host haunted bar crawls, group tours and a select few stays in some haunted houses.

These tours do run year round and I think it’s an amazing way to learn some history and really see a city you are visiting or live in as you walk around the city with a guide to share history and some ghost stories. Most nights in Cleveland they run at 8pm and some nights they do a second tour at 9pm. The tour lasts about an hour, maybe longer depending on your group size and questions. You can book a tour through US Ghost Adventure for all 150 cities.

Michelle was our guide and you could tell she was very knowledgeable and really enjoyed hosting these tours. You meet in public square where you will look for your guide in a US Ghost Adventure attire and they should have a lantern. They will check you in using your id. Once everyone is present you will start your tour.

The stories will change slightly depending on your guide but we started at the Soldier and Sailors Monument in Public Square where we were told about a couple of the known and unknown beings that haunt these tunnels. We enjoyed these stories as we have taken the tunnel tours in the spring which taught us lots of history as well. If I knew these stories I may not have taken the tour through the tunnels.

Next on the stop was a stop outside the Arcade where your tour guide will share some stories about the Federal Reserve building and the Hyatt Regency Hotel. Some people say they have stayed at the hotel and have been visited by someone or something.

Your guide will then take you down 4th street and prospect sharing some history and haunted areas. We then walked to the Erie Street Cemetery on 9th Street where we visited some grave sites, the vampire crypt and used an EMF meter where we were lucky enough to have some spirits guide us through the cemetery. These stories were so interesting as there is so much history and so many questions still unanswered.

Last but not least our guide lead us to the Cleveland Gray’s Armory Museum and the Hanna Theater which is part of the Playhouse District theaters. I thought it was crazy how some of the information provide early in our tour then connected with the Hanna Theater and some of it’s history and visitors.

We had such a fun night exploring Cleveland, learning some history and about some of the ghosts that haunt and watch over the city. This is a great way to start off spooky season or to take a tour through Cleveland or any of the other 150 cities US Ghost Adventures hosts tours. Check out my link to book a tour and as always let me know your thoughts.
