The Autumn Glow festival runs until Sunday November 2nd 2025 on the property of South River Winery. This event runs rain or shine and cost depends on the night and popularity for that night. They have different times you can buy tickets for but when we were there they allowed us to go in after our time as it was not dark yet. The event runs from 7pm to 10pm Thursday through Sunday. The event may be at a winery but the kiddos are welcome as well. This is an event that travels to different locations every year so currently this year is your only opportunity to experience this event.
They had a table set up where we checked in. They do have a food truck and booth to grab drinks such has beer and/or a mixed drinks, pop and water. There is a tent to the left when you enter where there are a couple vendors and an acrobat stage show. We watched a couple minutes of the show and it seemed fine but we were really there for the lights.
The website says it should take about an 1 hour and a half. We walked it in about 50 minutes not counting the time we spent in the tent. This event reminds me of the Asian Lantern festival at the Cleveland Metropark Zoo, which is one of my favorites. When we started our walk it was still dusk out but it was still a beautiful walk. The light ups covered everything from dragons, to animals, to Chinese culture and nature. There were some great photo opportunities and lots of space so you can take your time and enjoy the walk through the winery property.
This event was a great reason to visit South River Winery, Red Eagle Distillery, and Black Door Tavern. You can make a whole date night out of it which is exactly what we did. Drinks, Autumn Glow Festival and dinner at Black Door. Have you been to this event? What were your thoughts?
